Chickpea Hummus Recipe

Hummus is a great source of protein. Its perfect for the BBQ and potluck filled summer months. Feel free to make a batch and pair with some veggies. Bell peppers and carrots are awesome choices to pair with the hummus! Everyone at your BBQ won’t be able to get enough of this raw hummus. They’ll be asking for your secrets.

Chickpea Hummus-

1 Cup Chickpea sprouts (let them sprout overnight)
1 Lemon or lime, juiced
2 Tbsp. Fresh orange juice
1 Clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. Raw Tahini
Dash of sea salt
¼ tsp. Cayenne pepper
¼ tsp. Maca powder
2 Tbsp. Chives, chopped

Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender or food processor. If the consistency is too thick, add a tablespoon of water to the hummus to thin it. Garnish with parsley. This raw hummus recipe is very easy to make and takes a very short amount of time. Enjoy!
